Record Attendance At Concerts!

Songs of Broadway and the silver screen brightened the weekend for those who attended the two performances of the Village Singers of Lake Zurich.

Well over 300 fans enjoyed the lively and lovely concerts, easily a new record in the six years I've been a member. Our audiences grow each concert as more attend and pass on the word about the high caliber of this "hidden treasure" of Lake Zurich.

Singers who arrive early employ various means to pass the time before warm-ups begin, as demonstrated by Helen and Chuck.

Final Rehearsal for concert

Jeannine had one last opportunity to whip us into shape...

... and all the smiling faces prove everyone is happy with the results and proud of the 4 months of hard work learning and memorizing all the songs. We're ready for the concerts tomorrow night and Sunday afternoon, so y'all come on over and enjoy the show!

You sure don't want to miss the variety of solos and small groups which will entertain you, such as Reminisce seen below...

and the lovely ladies of 'N Tune...

... and our resident comedy troupe singing about the "Kids" of today.

See the posts below for all the info about the concerts.
